Music: Throwback Jam of the Week - JT Money - "Who Dat (Feat. Sole)"

For today's Throwback Jam, we're taking it back to the turn of the century, and the hottest song at the time was from the head man of Miami-based hip hop duo Poison Clan.  In 1990, Poison Clan caught the eye of the most important man on the Miami hip-hop scene, Luke, and went on to achieve some regional success with such songs as: "Don't Sleep on a Hizzo" and "Shake What Ya Mama Gave Ya".  However, it wouldn't be until the Poison Clan's leader went solo dolo in 1999, that anybody from the Poison Clan would have a bonafied national hit.  JT Money, the most recognizable of the duo, released "Who Dat" which featured a verse from another obscure rapper named Sole (who is more well-known for being the wifey of R&B crooner, Ginuwine, than anything she actually did in music) and shot to #1 on the rap charts, and even won the Miami rapper a billboard music award for best rap single.  Now, 11 years later we have absolutely no clue where JT is. However, with Rick Ross releasing some of the best music of his career to date, Trick Daddy recently reprising on Young Jeezy's Trap or Die 2, and Pitbull continuing his string of Latin-inspired dance hits Miami's hip-hop scene doesn't seem to be going the way of Poison Clan anytime soon.
